The Office of Head Start hosted a LIVE Webcast to discuss the regionally based trainings being conducted on the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) instrument and how it can be used by programs in professional development and quality improvement efforts. Topics include an overview of the CLASS instrument; the research behind the CLASS; the Office of Head Start’s plans related to CLASS; and a discussion of using CLASS as a professional development tool.
